David Pisani offers photography and darkroom printing workshops in a fully equipped studio within the program for the BRAZZA Art Residency. The main focus is on Black and White analogue (film) photography and darkroom printing however the courses may also tackle broader issues related to contemporary photography and the challenges of working in a professional field.
Each workshop is tailor made to individual needs, from enthusiastic beginners discovering the fascinating world of light and shadow to the hard boiled pro needing to take things one step further. The workshops are held in the residence studio and darkroom in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente (France) and are normally formatted for individual one-to-one apprenticeship, however the Brazza art residency can also host small groups.
